The Overview
Maoz, I., & McCauley, C. (2005).
This study is conducted by Ifat Maoz, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Clark McCauley University of Pennsylvania. This study is relevant to help learn the various stances on the notion of resolution as it directly answers the questions we’re asking: Is resolution even desired? If so, under what terms? How absolute are the attitudes of the Israeli people with respect to the treatment of Palestinians? How are Palestinians perceived?
They achieve answers to some of these questions by providing a random sample of Israelis a set of 6 possible forms of compromise. These compromises harbour very specific consequences that can indicate a certain prevailing attitude held by certain groups of people.
